Public Goods are good. Think things you already know and love, like clean water, parades, and Wikipedia. You can choose to go super deep, but for today let's keep things simple.

Public goods are good! We want more of them.

We want to grow the number of people working in Public Goods (PG).

Public Good School is a growing coalition of Public Goods organizations started as a joint project of Gitcoin and Developer DAO.

Public Good School empowers people to access education, mentorship, and opportunities to work in Public Goods.

🌱 Establish Roots 🌱

In the short term, 2022 for PGS is all about growing and strengthening networks and relationships in the PG space.

Greenpilling people is the first step.

PGS is planting seeds by hosting conversations and events to greenpill wider audiences.

PGS is nourishing roots by working with Gitcoin's Public Library and Crypto, Culture, & Society to educate people on the foundations and fundamentals of Public Goods.

PGS is digging deeper with mentorship programs, pairing experienced and respected leaders with newcomers who are getting their start making an impact.

PGS is branching out with work rotation programs, placing rising stars in positions across existing PG organizations.

Over the long term, PGS will help educational institutions around the world transition from training obedient labourers to educating responsible citizens and growing innovative leaders.
